Guests in Planet Zoo being able to see animals through glass barriers is a great way to make them happy. Guest happiness is based on many factors, but the joy on their faces when they can get up close to a Tiger without being eaten is always a bonus.
However, many players of Planet Zoo are facing an issue where the one-way glass is the wrong way. Essentially, this means that your guests can’t see the animals, but the animals can see them.
So, if you’re playing Planet Zoo and the one-way glass is facing the wrong way, here’s how to fix it.
One Way Glass Fix
In the image below, you can see that the one-way glass barrier is allowing animals to see out.
The idea is that guests can see into the habitats, while the animals can’t see out, thus increasing guest happiness and decreasing animal stress.
But, when you place the glass barrier down, sometimes that one-way glass can face the wrong way. To fix this, you’ll need to click on your habitat’s barrier and select “edit barrier”.
Either select one panel of glass or all of the glass barriers, then click the option to make them 1-way.
Select the Settings menu in the right-hand corner panel by locating the cog icon.
Next, choose the 1-way glass side option and toggle between left-to-right, or right-to-left. This will change the direction of the 1-way glass in Planet Zoo.
You can check to see whether the 1-way glass is working by rotating the angle. The darker side should face the animals, whereas the transparent side should face your guests.
Et voilà! Your guests will now be happier and your animals won’t feel like everyone is watching them. When guests can’t enter a habitat because there are dangerous animals, this is a great way for them to feel closer to the animals, increasing your money in Planet Zoo.
