With so many FTB (Feed The Beast) mod packs out there, it’s hard to pick the right one for you. We have selected some of the best FTB modpacks for 2021 to help you decide.
If you’re interested in hosting your own Minecraft server, you can check out the best recommended Minecraft server hosting companies in 2021.
Note: These modpacks are not ones that have been created in 2020/21 they are FTB modpacks which are still great to play, even now.
The Best Feed The Beast Modpacks
1. Infinity Evolved
Infinity Evolved is a great all-rounder, with tons of Minecraft Mods suited for every play style. The mod pack includes quests, two game modes, normal and expert as well as tons of great mods.
Infinity Evolved is designed to make Minecraft a longer game as you will require more items and blocks to craft things.
FTB Infinity Evolved is recommended for either solo or small to medium-sized servers. It gives players more freedom in their gameplay with plenty of cool items to build. You can download Infinity Evolved through the official FTB launcher.
2. FTB Revelation

According to the FTB app, the FTB Revelation mod list is the largest FTB mod pack put together yet. FTB Revelation is a great all-around FTB mod pack, with tons of great mods to suit all play styles.
This mod pack includes mods that weren’t around when FTB Infinity Evolved was created. There are no limitations to what you can do, but due to the size of the mods, some newer players may find it a little overwhelming.
If you enjoy exploring, the FTB mod pack also includes the Twilight Forest, which is a great place to explore. If you are not sure how to get to the Twilight forest, watch the video below, it’s worth making the portal and checking it out!
You can download Infinity Revelation through the official FTB launcher. We have also compiled a FTB Revelation mod list so you can see exactly which mods are used in FTB Revelation, simply click the button below to see the full list.
3. DireWolf20
Named after the Youtuber of the same name, the Minecraft mod pack includes tons of great mods, yet manages to perform exceptionally well.
Similar to Infinity Evolved and Infinity Revelation, DireWolf20 is an all-rounder mod pack that has increased in popularity. You can watch the YouTube videos and learn the same mods as the YouTuber uses.
You can see a full list of the mods included with the pack from here.
4. SkyFactory 4

Sky Factory 4 makes it onto the best FTB mod list due to its unique concept. Vanilla and many of the mod packs follow the same process, spawn in the wilderness and shape the land how you see fit.
Skyfactory shakes up that idea and almost reverses it, by spawning you up in the sky, on a block surrounded by nothingness, just a tree, which in turn you must start to build from and create the very land around you.
You may be wondering how you get resources if there is no land to start with? Things work a little differently in SkyFactory 4 than other mod packs. Resources can come from the most unexpected of places.
If you want to try SkyFactory, which I highly recommend you do, it can be downloaded from the Twitch Launcher.
5. Stoneblock 2

Similar to Skyfactory 4, Stoneblock 2 allows you to build in a Minecraft world full of stone. You’ll have to carve a base out of the stone and dig your way through your adventure.
While it can be a bit frustrating at first, Stoneblock 2 can be a really enjoyable mod pack. It allows you to leverage Project E mod where you can trade items for other items, e.g. you can trade 100 stone for EMC then use the EMC to purchase items like iron or diamonds.
The Stoneblock 2 mod pack includes Draconic Evolution where you’ll find plenty of end-game content to make your Minecraft gameplay long-lasting.
6. Regrowth
The Regrowth FTB mod pack comes with a questline that guides you through your Minecraft adventure. The concept behind Regrowth is that you start in a barren wasteland where you have to regrow the world back to its former glory.
Progression can be slow but this is a great mod pack if you want to spend more time in Minecraft. It presents more challenges and harder mobs, giving you hours of entertainment.
You can download the Regrowth FTB mod pack on the FTB website.
7. Sky Adventures
Similar to Skyfactory 4, Sky Adventures is a skyblock map with slightly different mods. Like Stoneblock 2, it includes the Project E mod so you can trade items for EMC currency.
Essentially, this is Stoneblock 2 with a skyblock map, so it combines the best of both worlds if you’re looking for a skyblock map.
You can download Sky Adventures here.
8. Beyond
If you’re after an all-purpose Minecraft FTB mod pack, beyond will cater to your requirements. It runs on the 1.10 version of Minecraft, offering different mods to Revelation, Infinity Evolved, and Direwolf2.
You can go through the list of mods in this mod pack and choose which ones you prefer. This gives more control for experienced players to play the way they want to.
