The AYANEO 3 Announced With Powerful New Features

Over the past couple of years, we’ve seen the rise and fall of plenty of handheld gaming PCs, with many of them promising to be the next big thing. Of course, this all started with the release of the Steam Deck back in 2022. However, AYANEO got there first, with their original handheld PC being released in 2021 before the Steam Deck was readily available to the general public.

While we’ve had plenty of hints that it was coming, the AYANEO 3 has finally been officially unveiled, bringing with it new upgrades that the company claims will redefine the mobile gaming experience.

What We Know About The AYANEO 3 So Far

As it stands, we’re still waiting for AYANEO to release the full specs; however, we do know that there will be a choice of two CPUs, as well as LCD and OLED screen variations to choose from.

The CPU choices are the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U, a powerful processor that has been used in previous versions of the AYANEO, or the Ryzen AI 9 HX370, an AI CPU that essentially turns the handheld PC into an AI PC, capable of handling AI tasks with ease.

As well as choosing between an LCD or OLED screen, it would also seem that buyers can choose to pick up either a black or white AYANEO 3.

The AYANEO 3 is also one of the few handheld PCs around to feature trigger locks. Trigger locks let you alter how far you need to push a trigger before it counts as being clicked. This feature is especially good for FPS players, as well as competitive gamers.

There’s no official release date, and we’re still waiting to see the rest of the specs for the AYANEO 3; however, the company has said they will be releasing more information in the next few weeks.

While there might be tons of Steam Deck competitors out there, many of which aren’t doing much to stand out from the crowd, one thing we can say for AYANEO is that they are constantly looking for new ways to innovate and improve their handheld PCs, making them an interesting choice for gamers.

How Much Will the AYANEO 3 Cost?

As it stands, AYANEO has not released any pricing information for the AYANEO 3. However, we do know that historically AYANEO devices are a little more expensive than other handheld PCs, but they do go above and beyond to create something unique for their customers.

From dual-screen handheld PCs to ones with a built-in keyboard, this is a company that isn’t afraid to take risks when it comes to investing in creating something new for the gaming community. While we’re yet to see what sets the AYANEO 3 apart from the rest, we have high hopes for this device being as unique as its predecessors, and offering a price that reflects its innovation and quality.
