Best Conan Exiles Mods for Enhanced in 2026

Conan Exiles has had one of the better modding communities in survival games for years, but finding the best Conan Exiles mods became a lot more confusing when Conan Exiles Enhanced launched in May 2026.

The move to Unreal Engine 5 split the Workshop into two very different worlds. Some of the most popular Conan mods are still tied to the Legacy client, while others have been rebuilt under completely different Workshop IDs for Enhanced. That means an older guide can still recommend a genuinely brilliant mod and send you to completely the wrong file.

This guide is specifically for Conan Exiles Enhanced on Steam. We have focused on mods that either have proper Enhanced releases or are currently being developed for it, and we have deliberately left out popular Legacy-only choices that do not belong on a current Enhanced list.

Best Conan Exiles Enhanced Mods at a Glance

You absolutely do not need all of them. Throwing every interesting Workshop item into one enormous mod list is a great way to spend the evening staring at loading screens and trying to work out which dependency you forgot. Pick the mods that improve the parts of Conan you actually care about, then add more once you know the base setup is stable.

Before You Install Anything: Enhanced and Legacy Are Not the Same Thing

Steam still contains years of Conan Exiles mods built for the old client, and some of those Workshop pages have subscriber counts that make them look like obvious choices. Popularity does not make a Legacy mod compatible with Enhanced.

Check the Version information on the Workshop page and read the author’s compatibility notes before subscribing. Do not rely only on the title because some valid Enhanced mods do not literally include the word “Enhanced” in their name. Pickup+ is a good example.

1. Simple Minimap

There are mods that rewrite progression, add hundreds of items, or change how an entire server works. Then there is Simple Minimap, which asks a much more important question: why am I opening the full-screen map every thirty seconds?

Xevyr’s Simple Minimap adds a proper minimap with multiple zoom levels, POI support, custom markers, adjustable sizing, and the ability to reposition it around the screen. Individual players can hide it as well, so a server can run the mod without forcing the extra interface on everyone.

It is one of those mods that sounds almost boring until you use it for a few hours. Going back to vanilla navigation afterward feels needlessly clumsy. If you only want a small Vanilla+ setup rather than a huge overhaul, Simple Minimap would be close to the top of my list.

2. Better Thralls

Thralls are one of the systems that makes Conan Exiles stand out from other survival games, but they can also make you question whether you accidentally recruited people who have never encountered a doorway before. We complained about some of that frustration all the way back in our original Conan Exiles review, and Better Thralls makes follower-heavy play far easier to manage.

The mod can increase the number of additional followers allowed by the server, lets you set home points, includes options for picking up eligible thralls and pets, and adds a Warcry system for issuing commands to nearby followers. Once your base has grown beyond a couple of fighters standing by the front door, being able to tell a whole group to follow, stop, or move away becomes extremely useful.

If you actually use followers rather than leaving half the population of the Exiled Lands standing around your crafting area, Better Thralls is one of the easiest Enhanced mods to recommend.

3. Fashionist

Conan Exiles has a ridiculous amount of armor, which makes it slightly annoying when the equipment with the stats you want looks nothing like the character you spent ages creating.

Fashionist separates appearance from the armor and weapons you are actually using. You can change armor styles, weapon appearances, and warpaint, hide individual armor pieces, display weapons and tools on your character, and generally make far better use of the game’s cosmetic options without sacrificing your preferred equipment.

Server owners can restrict parts of the system where needed, including options intended to keep PvP from turning into a complete guessing game. There is also a separate Legacy version of Fashionist, so make sure you are using the Enhanced Workshop item listed here rather than an older guide’s ID.

4. Pickup+

We’ve all done it. You finally get a wall, crafting station, decoration, or other placeable where you want it, then realize it is facing the wrong way or sitting just far enough out of line to annoy you every time you walk past.

Pickup+ lets you pick placed objects back up instead of destroying them and starting again. It sounds simple because it is simple, but that is exactly why it has remained useful for so long. The mod works in single-player and on dedicated servers, includes a configurable QuickPickup hotkey, and gives admins control over which objects can be picked up.

If you spend more time building than fighting, it can save a frankly embarrassing amount of time. Building is also one of the areas where Conan compares particularly well with other survival games, something we go into much more deeply in our ARK vs Conan Exiles comparison.

5. Stacksize Plus

Workshop ID: 3720915336

Survival games love making you hoard enormous quantities of materials and then punishing you for hoarding enormous quantities of materials.

Stacksize Plus increases stack sizes using an admin-configurable multiplier, reducing the amount of storage space swallowed by basic materials, food, ammunition, and crafting supplies. It works with vanilla items, DLC content, and items added by other mods, while deliberately non-stackable items remain that way.

You don’t need to push everything to absurd values. Even a moderate increase makes large PvE and private-server bases much easier to manage. 6. Unlock Plus

Workshop ID: 3720948133

Despite the name, Unlock Plus is not simply a cheat mod that hands you every feat in the game. Its Enhanced version is much more useful as a resource and inventory management tool.

It can move items between inventories, pull required crafting materials from nearby storage, deposit items into designated containers, maintain restock amounts, and generally make a sprawling crafting area less irritating to use. Once you have a settlement full of benches and storage, not having to remember which chest swallowed your shaped wood starts to feel like a luxury.

Some functionality from the old Legacy version has not returned yet, so do not use an old guide as a complete feature list for Enhanced.

7. Pippi

Workshop ID: 3725018456

Pippi has been one of the biggest names in Conan Exiles server administration for years, and there is now a proper Enhanced version rather than forcing server owners to cling to the old Legacy Workshop page.

For multiplayer communities, it adds a huge collection of management tools including custom chat, kits, commands, announcements, MOTDs, warps, server rules, player management, ranks, checkpoints, clan tools, events, and Mushi visual scripting.

Mushi is particularly useful for RP and community servers because it can be used to create custom quests, NPC interactions, events, and server mechanics without every idea needing its own separate mod. The important part here is the Workshop ID: Enhanced Pippi is 3725018456. The old Pippi page with ID 880454836 is the Legacy release.

8. Less Building Placement Restrictions

Workshop ID: 3755091710

If Conan tells you that you cannot place a foundation somewhere, Less Building Placement Restrictions will probably ask why not.

LBPR gives builders far more control over snapping, collision, placement restrictions, follower placement, overlap rules, and areas where construction would normally be blocked. Server admins can toggle individual features rather than simply removing every restriction at once.

That makes it useful for everything from getting a foundation to sit properly against awkward terrain to creating structures that would be impossible under the normal building rules. There is an obvious warning for PvP servers: giving players more placement freedom also gives them more opportunities to build somewhere you absolutely did not intend them to.

The Enhanced version requires ModControlPanel, Workshop ID 3722388367, so install the dependency as well.

9. EAA Enhanced Perks U0026amp; Level

Workshop ID: 3720326124

If you have reached level 60 enough times that the normal progression has lost some of its appeal, EAA Enhanced Perks & Level gives you a much longer road to follow.

The mod increases the maximum player level to 300 and expands attributes beyond their normal limits. Attributes can be raised further, with additional perks and enough extra progression to make a long-running server feel less like everyone finished their character three months ago.

I would not use it for a first playthrough because Conan already has enough systems to learn without stretching progression across another couple of hundred levels. For an established PvE server, however, it gives players something meaningful to keep working toward after vanilla progression has effectively ended.

10. Tot! Enhanced Custom

Workshop ID: 3721096154

Tot! Enhanced Custom is aimed heavily at roleplay and dedicated servers where the vanilla character creator simply is not enough.

It adds a much deeper body customization system with extensive sliders and support for additional heads, hairstyles, clothing, accessories, and other mods built around the Tot framework. It also sits at the center of a growing Enhanced cosmetic ecosystem, making it particularly useful for serious RP communities.

There are two important things to know before installing it. It requires Tot! Enhanced Sudo, and the author states that single-player and co-op are not supported. This is one for dedicated servers rather than a quiet solo save.

11. Shani’s Spoils

Workshop ID: 3721991191

If you build taverns, markets, homes, throne rooms, temples, shops, or anything else that is not just a square stone box with fifty furnaces inside it, Shani’s Spoils is worth looking at.

The Enhanced mod adds a large collection of decorative placeables, many of which can be resized or dyed to fit a build properly. One of its more interesting features is support for custom graphics, allowing server owners and builders to display images on supported paintings, banners, books, scrolls, and other decorative items.

That gives RP servers much more freedom when creating signs, shops, themed areas, and locations that actually feel like they belong to a specific community. The old Shani’s Stuff mod is Legacy and no longer the version you want for Enhanced.

12. Emberlight Enhanced

Workshop ID: 3741684658

Emberlight is less interested in giving you another enormous sword and much more interested in making the world around your character feel lived in.

The Enhanced version adds systems around animal husbandry, farming, professions, food, taverns, religion, and homesteading. You can build pastures, stalls, fields, profession areas, shrines, and other interactive parts of a settlement rather than simply filling a base with decorative clutter.

It is particularly well suited to PvE and RP servers where building a believable settlement is a bigger part of the experience than finding the most efficient raid base design possible. Make sure you are using Emberlight Enhanced, ID 3741684658. The older Workshop item belongs to Legacy.

13. Exotic Oddities

Workshop ID: 3720425971

Exotic Oddities is one of the more interesting mods to appear during the Enhanced era rather than simply being a port of something that has existed since Conan Exile was released.

It adds a mixture of useful items and systems, including warp stones, encumbrance backpacks, additional mounts, improved poisons, repair tools, public storage options, utility placeables, and a miniature map room. The feature list is broad, but that is part of the appeal. It feels more like a collection of useful ideas for an existing Conan world than an attempt to turn the game into something completely different.

It also took first place in Funcom’s 2026 Forge Your Legacy community modding contest, which makes it one of the newer Enhanced projects worth paying attention to rather than something we have dragged out of the depths of the Workshop to make the list longer.

14. Proximity Party

Workshop ID: 3718878457

Proximity Party is another smaller Xevyr mod that fixes something surprisingly useful. It adds a dynamic party interface showing the health of nearby clan members and thralls, making it much easier to see who is in trouble during a busy fight.

Players take priority, followed by followers, and you can configure the detection range, interface scale, and how many health bars are displayed. When you are exploring with several players and a small army of thralls, being able to see who is about to die without individually checking everyone makes combat far easier to manage.

It is not a giant overhaul, but not every good mod needs to be.

15. Extended Thrall Stats

Workshop ID: 3720737911

Conan gives you plenty of numbers for followers without always doing a particularly good job of explaining what those numbers actually mean.

Extended Thrall Stats adds more useful information to the thrall and pet stat interface, including melee and ranged damage multipliers, damage gained from attributes, health gained from Vitality, and a thrall’s original name.

The Enhanced version was rebuilt with compatibility in mind and uses UI injection rather than simply replacing the entire stats panel. If another mod also changes that part of the interface, follow the author’s load-order guidance. It is a small mod, but an extremely handy one if you actually care about comparing followers rather than simply keeping whichever one has the biggest health bar.

New Conan Exiles Enhanced Mods Worth Watching

One of the most encouraging things about Enhanced is that the Workshop is not surviving entirely on ports of old favorites. Modders are building new systems around the UE5 version as well, and a few projects are already doing things that older Conan mod lists barely mention.

Conan Exiles Legacy Mods You Should Not Install on Enhanced

Conan Exiles Enhanced uses separate Workshop releases for several popular mods, so it is worth checking the Workshop ID before subscribing. Older versions may still have huge subscriber counts, but that does not mean they are compatible with Enhanced.

• Pippi ID 880454836 is Legacy. Enhanced Pippi is 3725018456.
• Emberlight ID 1369802940 is Legacy. Emberlight Enhanced is 3741684658.
• The Age of Calamitous ID 1113901982 is currently a Legacy mod and should not be treated as an Enhanced recommendation.
• Fashionist, Better Thralls, Unlock Plus, and Stacksize Plus also have separate Legacy and Enhanced releases, so use the IDs listed in this guide.

Before installing any mod from an older guide, forum post, or saved mod list, check the Workshop page for the supported Conan Exiles version. It only takes a few seconds and can save a lot of troubleshooting later.

What About Age of Calamitous?

Age of Calamitous is still one of the biggest Conan Exiles mods ever made, but its current Workshop item belongs to the Legacy side of the game.

That does not make AoC dead. You can still play Conan Exiles Legacy and build a Legacy mod list around it. It simply means it does not belong in a guide claiming to show the best mods for Conan Exiles Enhanced. The distinction matters because Enhanced and Legacy are effectively separate modding ecosystems now.

Conan Exiles Enhanced Mod Load Order

There is not one magic Conan Exiles mod load order that works for every server. Your order depends on which mods you use, what files they change, their dependencies, and the specific instructions given by the authors.

• Install required frameworks and dependencies first, following the author’s instructions.
• ModControlPanel is required by mods such as LBPR.
• Tot! Enhanced Custom requires Tot! Enhanced Sudo, and Tot-based cosmetic mods may provide their own placement instructions.
• If a Workshop description gives a specific load-order rule, follow it.
• Add larger mods gradually rather than enabling 30 at once.
• Back up an established world before changing a large mod list.
• After a major Conan patch, check Workshop pages before assuming every mod has already been updated.

A mod that loaded perfectly before a major game update is not automatically safe afterward. Enhanced has already gone through significant engine and game updates since launch, and recompiles have been necessary for a number of Workshop projects.

Recommended Conan Exiles Mod Lists

Best Vanilla+ Setup

If you want Conan to still feel like Conan, start with Simple Minimap, Pickup+, Better Thralls, Stacksize Plus, and Extended Thrall Stats. None of them needs to rewrite the game to make normal play noticeably less frustrating.

Best Setup for Builders

For building, I would combine LBPR, Pickup+, Shani’s Spoils, Emberlight, and Fashionist. That gives you far more freedom over placement, decoration, settlement design, and character presentation without forcing an enormous progression overhaul.

Best Setup for an RP Server

For a dedicated roleplay server, Pippi, Tot! Enhanced Sudo, Tot! Enhanced Custom, Shani’s Spoils, Fashionist, and Emberlight provide a very strong foundation. From there, mods such as Immersive Armors can expand the cosmetic side once you know the core server is stable.

Best Setup for Long-Term PvE

For a world you plan to keep for months rather than weeks, EAA Enhanced Perks & Level, Better Thralls, Unlock Plus, Stacksize Plus, Emberlight, and Simple Minimap give you more progression while cutting down some of the repetitive inventory work that becomes increasingly annoying in a mature base.

Final Thoughts

There is no single perfect Conan Exiles mod list because there is no single way to play Conan. That is exactly why the Workshop has survived for so long. Start with the parts of the game you actually want to improve, keep an eye on compatibility after major patches, and resist the urge to subscribe to everything on page one just because Steam says 200,000 other people did.
