Tropico 6 20th Anniversary Event How to Find the Llamas

If like me, it’s been a while since you’ve visited the isles of Tropico, now is a good time to pick up the mantle of El’ Presa Dente one more time, for the Tropico 20th anniversary event.

If you plan to return to enjoy the updates for the 20th Anniversary, why not take a look at the latest DLC from Tropico 6 too, Caribbean Skies.

Of course, every party needs pinatas, and what’s better than a pinata? A Llama pinata of course! Playing Tropico during the event adds pinatas all over your island, which gives you a nice cash reward for smashing them.

The best way I have found to find these Llamas is to view the city from a top-down view, just slowly scroll through the buildings, looking down on them till you see bright colors.

Once you have found a Llama, you need to click on it a couple of times to smash it. Then if you look at the top left corner of the screen, you will see some text showing you how much money it gave you and how many are left to smash.

Don’t overthink it either, some of them spawn in the most obvious places, which are so obvious, you might actually overlook them. Many of my pinatas spawned in the middle of the road, with cars and trucks driving through them.

They can respawn on the same spot more than once too, so make sure to check back in places you have already looked, they might just be back there again.

What happens once you find all the Llamas?

Once you have found them all, you will be taken to your palace, where some fireworks will be set off. Shortly after, you will notice some more text in the top right telling you that you have unlocked another customization item that can now be used.
