That’s why we’ve compiled a list of some of the best monitors on the market. You can choose from the best budget-friendly monitors to the widest PC monitors available.

Read on to see the best monitors we’ve seen so far!

Best Overall Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitors

Some monitors excel in most certain to increase your gaming experience. After conducting our research and physically testing each monitor, here’s our conclusion of the best monitors you can buy today.

Dell S3220DGF ($439)

Dell S3220DGF
Dell S3220DGF curved
Dell S3220DGF back and front

The Dell S3220DGF is one of the best 32-inch QHD ultra-wide gaming monitors you can buy. It delivers a 1440p resolution providing high-quality contrast and image quality. This option gives a fast refresh rate of 165Hz and quick panel response.

It has a 1800r curve that makes it perfect for productivity and competitive gaming. The monitor has a great build quality worth the higher price point. The only drawback is the lack of gamma presets or an sRGB mode to really highlight bright tonal contrast.

LG 34GN850-B ($996.99)

LG 34GN850-B back
LG 34GN850-B ports

Next on the list is a 34-inch gaming monitor from LG, also giving a 1440p resolution. It has excellent motion handling with a fast response time from the 160Hz max refresh rate. Additionally, it has a low input lag that allows for clear, fast-moving scenes.

The HDR displays a wide color gamut with a black stabilizer feature to help you see clearer in shadows. However, the highest brightness of the monitor isn’t suitable to produce bright highlights. In spite of this, it still gets bright enough to avoid glare in most lighting situations.

Asus Rog Swift PG35VQ ($2,490)

If you have the money to splurge on the ultimate gaming monitor, the Asus Rog Swift PG35VG is an indulgent choice. This 35-inch option gives 1440p resolution and an exceptional 200Hz refresh. It has top-notch color accuracy with a 4k video display.

It provides a beautiful HDR while still having a low input lag. This is one of the best picks for content creators and competitive gamers out there.

The most obvious con to this monitor is that it’s way more expensive than the other options. It’s also leaning towards the heavy side and has low DCI-P3 numbers.

Best Budget Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitors

Although gaming may be your passion, your budget may not fit those fancy monitors. Don’t worry, here are some budget-friendly monitors for you.

Gigabyte G27F ($219)

If you’re trying to find a good monitor for gaming that fits into your budget, Gigabyte G27F is a great option. It’s 27-inches with 1080p resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. This offers excellent gaming visuals and performance for the price point.

It provides good contrast although, it has slightly dark gamma presets. This monitor has performance that gets elevated with an overdrive.

It is one of the best compared to other pc monitors within the same price range. Another disadvantage is that the Gigabyte G25F also doesn’t have an sRGB gamut option.

Purchase from Amazon.com

Acer Nitro XV340CK ($422.53)

This budget monitor for gaming is 34-inches with a 1440p resolution. It doesn’t have a curved screen but has great ergonomics for an ultra-wide monitor. The Acer Nitro XV340CK doesn’t get as bright, great for darker lighting conditions.

It has a 144Hz refresh rate and a Black Frame insertion feature to help with motion clarity. This option supports HDR playing without any input lag. However, the HDR does have its drawbacks as it doesn’t display a wide color gamut.

Purchase from Amazon.com

Gigabyte G34WQC ($443.99)

The last option in the budget category is the Gigabyte G34WQC. It’s 34-inches with a 1440p resolution and 144HZ refresh rate. This is better suited for gaming in darker environments as it produces a deeper black using a VA panel.

It can also get a lot brighter, getting rid of any glare with a great HDR display. The response rate isn’t as fast, which doesn’t make it the best for content creation or co-op gaming. If you often game in a dark-lit room and want a budget-friendly monitor, this is an excellent option.

Best Super Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitors

Want a quality, crisp, and high-resolution display while you game? Here are the best two monitors for smoother and color-accurate gameplay.

Samsung LC49G95TSSNXZA

If you’re looking for a monitor that supports your multi-tasking, this is the one for you. It has an astounding 49-inches and 1440p resolution. Despite the size of the screen, it handles glare well with the reflection handling.

It stands out from the rest in this list with an astonishing 240Hz refresh rate. This means you get the smoothest and most responsive gameplay. You do have to get a graphics card that supports Display Stream Compression to achieve this.

The graphics don’t leave a blur trail and provide crisp visuals. It has a good HDR display with a wide color gamut. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have the best contrast ratio, even though it has a VA panel.

It has a picture-by-picture feature that allows you to have two applications open at once. This is great for streamers or if you want to watch something while you’re playing. One negative to this is that it’s the most expensive item on this list.

LG 49WL95C-W

If you want a relatively cheaper option than the one above, the LG 49WL95C-W is great. It also has a 49-inch display with a 1440p resolution. It has good color accuracy and can handle HDR content well.

Like the monitor above, this one allows you to have full-sized applications opened at once. It has a sturdy build with a solid frame that has USB-C ports you can charge with. It also comes with powerful speakers perfect for gaming without headphones.
