With many games being released early these days, it’s extremely common that most of us will run into game bugs and glitches, these can be frustrating at times. However, we have decided to take a unique look at both minor and game-changing bugs that can improve a game, most of the time by giving us a good giggle! After all, what are games for if not to entertain us? RDR2 Bugs may be some of the most entertaining bugs we have ever seen!
For me, Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2) is a pretty flawless game. I think it’s for this reason that its bugs actually enhance the game, more than creating an inconvenience.
Let’s take a look at my favorite of Red Dead’s (frankly) hilarious bugs and glitches courtesy of IGN:
1 | Timber
A classic RDR2 moment that has happened to the best of us. The minute you jump on a horse in this game, you’re bound to enter into a hilarious encounter. ‘Timber’ sees Arthur hopping off his horse in some luscious woodlands. Only, seconds later, his horse is devastatingly mauled by (yup, you guessed it) a tree!
2 | Crash Landing
Another funny horse moment, but of epic proportions! If you’ve ever played Red Dead you’ll be familiar with your horse’s natural magnetic pull towards objects (or down them). Here we see two of the clueless mammals taking a nose dive down a mound (it’s not even a hill). Arthur steps off to check out the situation only to witness an invisible nuclear explosion… of horse and cart.
3 | Cinematic Camera
By now you’re probably recognizing that there’s a common theme here with Red Dead Redemption 2 bugs and glitches. Neigh! Well, actually yes, you’re right, horses are just too damn funny in this game. This elegant cinematic camera moment is brutally interrupted by yet another blind horse!
4 | Mr. Marston?
John Marston and Arthur join each other for some casual conversation. The dialogue in this game, if you pay attention, is absolutely genius. There’s a whole story within a story when you listen to the characters mindlessly chatting away. But sometimes the conversation is cut short like it is in this clip. To this day, who knows where Mr. Marston disappeared to?
5 | A Series Of Events
Some may call this a cliffhanger, others may call this absolute carnage. I’m not even sure how to describe this one! Looks like this player didn’t need to do much after all. His enemies have all literally been thrown off a cliff (courtesy of another horse bucking). What better way to resolve this situation than to sink or swim with them!
