Once you’ve caught bees, you can start to get honey in Ranch Simulator. But, in order to get honey to sell it, you’re going to have to catch some bees first. This can be a little tricky, and you’ll need a few items before getting started.
But fear not! We’re here to show you how to catch bees in Ranch Simulator and how to get and sell honey to make money.
How to Catch Bees in Ranch Simulator
To catch bees, you will need a few things. These items are:
- Bee Smoker ($75)
- Hive Frame ($20)
You can purchase the Bee Smoker and the Hive Frame from the General Store in Ranch Simulator. You can find bees in the wild around the forest areas. Move around slowly and listen for the buzzing noise, or keep your eyes peeled for nests in trees.
It’s worth taking transport with you so you can carry the Bee Smoker and Hive Frame (or frames).
What is The Bee Smoker For?
The Bee Smoker is used to calm the bees down. This means you’ll be able to approach them safely without hurting them, or them hurting you!
Once you approach the bee hive, you can use the Bee Smoker. Then, you’ll need to hold the Hive Frame to collect the bees.
What is The Hive Frame For?
The Hive Frame can be placed in your Wooden Beehive (via blueprint) once it’s built. Once you obtain a Honey Extractor (via blueprint) and a Barrel ($18), you can produce delicious honey to sell for a profit.
Catching Bees Easily
- Place the Bee Smoker on the ground near the hive, then Press E on the smoker to turn it on.
- Pick up the Hive Frame and look at the hive in the tree. Hold E until you have picked up the bees.
- Keep the Bee Smoker on while you transport the Hive Frame from the tree to the Wooden Beehive at your farm.
The bees will start making honey. You’ll be able to extract the honey using the Honey Extractor and Barrel. While you don’t have to, it’s definitely useful to have all of these items near each other to make extracting honey much easier.
How Much Money Can You Make From Bees?
Honey can be sold for $4 per 0.1 unit of honey. With a maximum capacity of 7.5 in a barrel, a full barrel of honey can sell for $300. So, once you’ve invested in the items you need from the General Store, it’s a really quick and easy way to make money in Ranch Simulator.
Combine this with growing and selling crops in Ranch Simulator, as well as selling a range of cooked items and ingredients, and you’ll be making money in no time.
