PS Plus August 2019: Cheap PlayStation Plus 12 month subscription

Ahead of the release of PS Plus August 2019, we have some exciting news! If you head over to HotUkDeals you can nab a 12 month PlayStation Plus subscription for just £36.99.

Whether you’re looking for a new membership or renewing your existing subscription, this deal isn’t to be missed. Hurry though, as stocks may not last and you don’t want to miss out!

PlayStation Plus is usually £49.99 via the PlayStation store. This deal will offer you savings of almost £15 for a 12 month subscription. Rumour has it, if you buy through Quidco, you can get 5% back on your purchase too – bargain!

PlayStation Plus is Sony’s version of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass. The subscription service unlocks access to plenty of features as well as free games each month. Whilst the membership isn’t as fruitful as the game pass, its well worth considering at this price.

As of July 2019, PlayStation Plus is offering Detroit: Become Human and Horizon Chase Turbo for FREE! An extremely immersive game followed by a 90s nostalgia classic, you can’t go wrong. But what’s next for August 2019?

Unfortunately PS Plus games usually aren’t announced until the last Wednesday of each month. If our predictions are correct, this will fall on Wednesday 31st July 2019. But it does mean you can access July’s PS Plus games for free for even longer.

Earlier in the month there were rumours that Star Wars Battlefront 2 and UFC 3 were going to be released on PS Plus in August. Certain regions were seeing the games with a plus next to them in the PSN store. However, it was later revealed lots of EA games were showing the PlayStation Plus symbol next to them.

EA Access is due to be released tomorrow on Wednesday 24th July for PlayStation users. EA’s subscription service was previously only available exclusively to Xbox and PC. You’ll pay a subscription fee of around £3.99 per month and unlock a vault of EA games. For example, when the new FIFA gets released, you’ll get early access play time and free trials.

July’s PlayStation Plus was meant to include PES 2019 but Sony released this statement to clarify:

“We are making a swap to the PS Plus games lineup for July. This month, we are adding Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition*, which also includes Heavy Rain (Beyond Two Souls**), to the July games lineup instead of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

But if you’re still sad about PES 2019 not being available, you can play the lite demo for free now. Hold onto your horses as we will be back next week to reveal the line up for PlayStation Plus August 2019.
