Gen 5 new Pokemon list:

Believe it or not, the Pokemon in Pokemon Go Gen 5 don’t evolve into or from pre-existing Pokemon. This is obviously very different from generation 2 and 4 which brought new evolutions to the game.
I doubt we’ll say any baby Pokemon introduced like we’ve seen with the introduction of Sinnoh Stones. This will be a refreshing change for those who have been playing Pokemon Go for quite some time. Personally I’m really looking forward to it and love the anticipation it will bring to the game.

Pokemon Go Gen 5 Starter Pokemon

Pokemon Go Gen 5 will introduce 3 new starter Pokemon. Unlike the games, you won’t be able to receive these for ‘free’ as such. However, you will have the opportunity to obtain them.
Snivy is a grass type Pokemon which evolves into Servine. Servine evolves into Serperior. Tepig is a fire type which evolves into Pignite, then into Emboar. Finally we have Oshawott which is the starter water Pokemon in Gen 5. Oshawott evolves into Dewott, and Dewott evolves into Samurott.
Take a look at our list of first wave Pokémon here including how to catch them.
