In Planet Zoo, Conservation Credits are essential to expanding your franchise, purchasing animals, and lots more. When I first played the Planet Zoo Beta, I had no idea what I was doing and didn’t know how to earn Conservation Credits.
Now that I do (and I’ve experimented a lot), I want to share my Planet Zoo tips of how to earn Conservation Credits without much hassle!
How to earn Planet Zoo conservation credits:
There are a few quick and easy ways to earn Conservation Credits:
- Visit other zoos (I’ll show you how)
- Respond by saying “Hello” to other players who visit your zoo
- Login daily to Planet Zoo
- Sell your animals (or release them to the wild)
We’ll explore each of these in more detail to ensure you know how to earn the most Conservation Credits in Planet Zoo.
How To Visit Other Zoos
When you launch Planet Zoo for the first time, you’ll be prompted to make an avatar. Your avatar is a small representation of who you are in the world of Planet Zoo.
When you visit other zoos (which I’ll show you how to do), it’s your avatar that makes the trip. Follow these simple steps to visit other zoos in Planet Zoo:
- Create an Avatar
- Enter Franchise Mode and create your own Franchise
- Navigate to the left hand side and click the edit button (this is next to the Franchise name)
- Check the Visiting Status button and turn it to ON
When you turn the Visiting Status to on it means your avatar can visit other zoos. It also means other people’s avatars can come and visit your zoo. You won’t be able to visit another person’s zoo in person though using this method.
Visiting Other Zoos in Person (and saying Hello)
If you want to visit a zoo in person in Planet Zoo, you’ll need to subscribe to their zoo via the Steam Workshop. Once you’ve subscribed to a zoo, you can click on My Zoos to see your own franchises as well as your subscribed-to zoos.
When you say “Hello” and greet a visiting Planet Zoo guest avatar to your zoo, you can earn some much-needed Conservation Credits. If you see a Visiting Player Alert on your screen, you’ll get 20 Conservation Credits for responding to them.
Login Daily To Receive Credits
If you can draw yourself away from real life once every day, you’ll get handsomely rewarded for logging into Planet Zoo.
Planet Zoo will offer you a whopping 100 Conservation Credits just for logging into the game. It’s well worthwhile doing, and you may as well play for a few hours whilst you’re at it (that’s my excuse anyway).
Sell Animals for Conservation Credits
Breeding your furry friends is a fine way to go about earning extra Credits. I’d advise starting with a small zoo to begin with to get your Planet Zoo Credits flowing nicely.
Easy starter animals include Tortoises, Ostriches, and Warthogs. They tend to get it on (if you know what I mean) pretty quickly! Fast breeding animals like these are quite easy to maintain and sell for a reasonable profit.
I suggest buying a male and female of each species to get the process started. If you purchase an animal but the opposite gender isn’t yet available, keep your animal in storage for the time being.
However, it’s important to remember that animals bought for cash cannot be sold for Conservation Credits.
If an animal is in storage, it won’t age, so you won’t risk your animals getting too decrepit before they find their mate.
