How to Use the Essence Condenser in Palworld

If you’re looking to make your Pals stronger in Palword, you might want to consider building the Essence Condenser and merging some of your Pals to make a higher-ranking Pal. But before you can build the Essence Condenser, you need to make sure you’re level 14 first, so you can unlock it via the technology tab.

How to Build the Essence Condenser

To increase the rank of your Pals, you first need to build the Essence Condenser, which, as mentioned above, requires you to be at least level 14.

Once you’ve reached level 14, you will need the following materials in order to build it:

  • x20 Iron Ingots
  • x20 Paldium Fragments
  • x5 Ancient Civilization Parts

Thankfully, most of these parts can be collected fairly easily and shouldn’t take long to farm. You only need to build one Essence Condenser in Palworld, as unlike other buildings in the game, there’s no benefit to having more than one.

How to Use the Essence Condenser

Once you have built the Essence Condenser, you can use it to strengthen one of your Pals. It’s a little like evolving your Pals, but without any physical changes to their name or design. But to do this, you will need to sacrifice multiple of the same type of Pals.

Simply go into the Essence Condenser, find and left-click on the Pal you want to rank up, and you will see how many of the same kind of Pals you need to merge with to be able to complete the process.

Depending on your Pals rank, you will always need the same number of Pals to merge with. The amount of Pals needed to rank up is:

  • Level 1: 4 Pals of the same type
  • Level 2: 16 Pals of the same type
  • Level 3: 32 Pals of the same type
  • Level 4: 64 Pals of the same type.

Considering this can be a time-consuming process, it’s important to make sure that you choose your base Pal wisely. Picking the wrong Pal could waste a lot of time, resources, and Pals.
