The King Titan Ark boss was meant to be one of the final bosses in the game, which would have been followed by Ark 2 until of course development started on Genesis part one and two instead.
Since this King Titan was meant to be one of the final bosses, you would naturally assume you’re going to get some awesome Tek Engrams, but sadly you would be wrong.

What does killing Ark’s King Titan boss get you?
Instead of Engrams, when you kill King Titan, you will unlock a cutscene. This assumedly was meant to be the last piece of the story, before the release of Ark 2.
As well as a nice little cutscene you will also get a decent amount of loot dropped for you and anyone in the fight to spilt between you.
When I first did the fight, I was under the impression that I would get 5 extra levels for killing the King Titan, sadly Ark does not reward you with extra levels once you’ve killed it.
Finally, you will also get an upgrade to your arm implant, which will be completely replaced with the Homo Deus record
How to summon the King Titan on Extinction:
Firstly, you will want to make your way to the Forbidden Zone on Ark’s extinction map. You can find it at the very top of the map, as you can see in the image below from Gamepedia.

The items you need to spawn the King Titan are as follows:

Are you prepared for the King Titan?
Before making the journey, make sure you have enough people and creatures that are well enough equipped to take on this fight. He isn’t easy, so be prepared to face the fact, some of your dinos might die.
If you have or know someone who has tamed a titan, that will make your chances much better, if you can get all 3 titans, then even better.

Air support can also be a good addition too as you can use them to deal with the corrupted whilst easily being able to avoid being hit by his massive knockback attack. Just make sure they have a decent ascendant saddle on with good armor, in case they end up taking a hit.
Having a small army of Giga’s on top of all this, will only increase your chances, so if you can spare them, bring them along for the fight too.

Meks are another good addition for this fight, and can be used in a couple of way, depending how you equip them for the fight.
Firstly you can use the Mek with the M.D.S.M attachment, making it a shield Mek, which can be effective as a support role, giving players a safe space from the fireballs produced from on of the King Titan devastating attacks as well as helping players tank with a 30% reduction to damage.
Although, it’s worth noting, if you do plan to use a shield Mek, the shield will eventually overheat causing it to temporarily come down, so make sure to keep an eye on that, and plan accordingly.
The second option with a Mek, is to use the M.R.L.M attachment for pure DPS to the Titan King, while these swarm rockets do have extremely poor accuracy. In this particular fight, accuracy is not too much of an issue as the Titan King is huge, so as long as you point in it’s general direction, it’s unlikely you’re going to miss.
