How to Find Flint in Smalland: Survive the Wilds

Flint is a vital resource in Smalland; it can be used to build stronger weapons and tools, however, as it’s less common than other resources, it’s not always easy to find flint in Smalland, unless you know where to look.

Smalland can be a brutal game, especially when you are first starting out. Upgrading to flint tools and weapons as quickly as possible is a great way to make the game a little easier to survive.

What Does Flint Look Like in Smalland

Before you go looking for flint in Smalland, it’s best to know what you are actually looking for. Flint is fairly easy to spot, even from a distance, unlike clay. It is a small black rock with a glossy shine to it.

Flint in Smalland

Unlike some survival games, Smalland does a pretty good job of making all resources look unique, so you shouldn’t have any issues identifying which rocks are actually flint.

Where to Find Flint in Smalland

Flint can be found by large bodies of water on the edges of the map. There are a couple of great spots for farming flint along the south coast of the map.

From the starting area, going southwest or southeast to either coast will lead to beach areas, both of which are great spots not only for flint, but also for farming bark too.

If you plan to make the trip to find flint in Smalland, it’s best to be prepared. The beach areas tend to have much stronger enemies, making flint a much harder resource to farm, but once you’ve obtained better weapons, they shouldn’t give you too much hassle.

Both spots marked on the map above have great trees next to them. The eastern beach is also close to both bark and clay, making it a great spot to claim a great tree, reducing the travel time needed to farm these valuable resources.
