Players wishing to take part in the Battlefield 2042 beta can do so from today, depending on what device you wish to take part on, will change how you access the beta and enjoy Battlefield 2042.
Xbox or Windows Store
For Xbox One, Series X, and S or Windows store players, the beta access is bundled with the Game Pass, for those wanting to play on PC, simply click the button below.
If you are wanting to join the Battlefield 2042 beta on your Xbox, simply login to the Game Pass on your console and search for Battlefield 2042 beta.
When installing the Xbox version of the game, if the installation keeps failing, go to the Xbox store and search for Battlefield 2042 Beta, you should then have the option to ‘Buy to own’ click on this and attempt the download again.
To join the beta on your PlayStation 5 simply go to the PlayStation Store on your PS5. Alternatively, you can sign into the PlayStation Store from your PC and add Battlefield 2042 open beta to your library.
You will need PS Plus to be able to access online play. To join the Battlefield 2042 beta on your PlayStation, add the game to your library by clicking the button below.
The Battlefield 2042 open beta is not available on the PS4. However, you can pre-order Battlefield 2042 via the PlayStation Store for $59.99 or get a discounted rate of $53.99 with EA Play.
The battlefield 2042 beta will last for 3 days, ending on October 9, 2021. If you have pre-ordered Battlefield 2042 or have EA Play, you will also have access to join the beta on EA Play, which can be downloaded from EA’s Origin software.
The beta includes one map, called Orbital, and only one mode at the moment, conquest, which supports up to 128 players per game.
Players who have pre-ordered on Steam can also jump straight into the action today too, by simply logging in and searching in the steam store for Battlefield 2042.
