With only a few weeks left till the new Xbox Series X consoles are released, let’s take a look at what we can expect from the best of the confirmed Xbox Series X games coming soon.
Fable:
The original Fable is an amazing game as we’re the next two games to follow in the series, sadly the game seemed to have lost it’s way after the release of Fable 3.
Thankfully Playground Studios and Xbox have release the trailer for the next installment and although it only gives us a glimpse, I have equal amounts of hope and excitement for the franchise making a much deserved come back.
Let’s hope that the Xbox Series X / S will see the return of Fable to it’s former glory, it’s undeniable that the trailer is enough to get us all pretty excited, for now, we will need to wait and see if the game will leave up to our expectations.
State of Decay 3:
Another very exciting release for Xbox owners and with a trailer that creates more questions that it answers.
State of Decay 3 is currently still in early development, so expect it to be some time before we start to see more gameplay information or trailers.
The Medium:
Coming to Xbox and PC on the 10th December, the Medium is set to be a very interesting title with a duel gameplay mechanism, meaning you play out the game across two worlds at the same time.
Akira Yamaoka the composer behind Silent Hill has worked with the team, making the upcoming game even more exciting.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II:
If you’ve not heard of this one, where have you been hiding? The first game featured some amazing technology to really capture the protagonist’s features, mostly confusion, anger and fear.
The sequel was announced at the same time as the design for the Series X console was announced and personally is top of my list to try out on the new upcoming console.
Avowed:
From Obsidian Entertainment, the creators of Grounded comes a new next-gen first-person role-playing game.
The trailer has that Skyrim feeling to it, with magic in one hand and a sword in the other. Avowed is set to be released mid next year.
Summary:
Whilst this is not all of the Confirmed Xbox Series X Games, these are the ones that have got me the most excited.
