Ark valguero is just about to be released on console, and from what we have seen of the new map on the PC version of Ark: Survival evolved we can tell both PS4 and Xbox One users they are in for a treat.

The servers went down at 10am PST today to apply not only the new map but also some additional bug patches too:
- Fixed an exploit with Gasbags
- Plant Z’s weight is now 21
- Fixed an exploit with feeding Plant Y seeds.
- Cryopod and Cryofridge engrams are now available on all maps (edited).
- Item duplication fixes on Xbox
Ark valguero Spawn locations:
For those of you planning to jump onto the new DLC straight away, we’ve added the Ark Valguero spawn map to help you plan your adventures.
Also take a look at the video below and check out some of the maps hidden caves and other locations.
Dupes & glitches:
Whilst Ark Valguero is and absolutely stunning map it doesn’t come without issues.
The development team working on the map have admitted that there are current dupes being exploited.
However they are working on fixing these dupes ready for the next patch.
Regardless of dupes and bugs, Ark valguero is the biggest content drop we have seen for some time now. Regardless of my predictions of a team working on a sequel to the game, development like this is a welcomed addition to the game.
Ark valguero new features:
Ark valguero has a diverse set of biomes featuring several biomes that reintroduce dinosaurs from all the other DLC’s and maps.
- The White Cliffs
- Tundra Biome
- Savannah Biome
- Savannah Biome
The Savannah biome is my personal favorite, creating the ability to capture and roam the map with the Aberration dinosaurs from what I felt was an incredibly underappreciated DLC.
Environmental features:
The map also has some minor environment changes too.
- Shooting Stars: At night time you can see these shooting stars flying across the sky
- Rainbows
- Auroras: Some nights you can see auroras in the night sky
- Freezing air in the snow desert
