Ark’s Halloween event is back for another year with Fear Evolved 6. As with previous Ark: Survival Evolved Halloween events, we can expect some spooky tricks (and treats) starting on October 19th through November 2nd, 2022.
When Is Fear Evolved 6?
Ark Halloween 2022 starts on October 19th on official Ark servers and will end on November 2nd. Unofficial servers can also activate the event by adding the following server arg parameter: -ActiveEvent=FearEvolved
This is the 6th Halloween event in Ark, and may possibly be the last if Ark 2 releases in 2023.
Ark Halloween 2022 Event Rates
When Ark releases a new event throughout the year, there are adjusted event rates to go with it. That’s still the case for this year’s Fear Evolved 6, based on official Ark servers and maps:
- Official Servers: 3x XP, Harvesting, Taming, and Breeding, 1.5x Hexagon Bonus
- Small Tribe Servers: 4.5x XP, 4.5x Harvesting, 4.5x Taming, and 4x Breeding, 1.5x Hexagon Bonus
- ARKPocalypse: 5x XP, 5x Harvesting, 5x Taming, and 5x Breeding, 1.5x Hexagon Bonus
- Conquest: 4.5x XP, 4.5x Harvesting, 4.5x Taming, and 4x Breeding, 1.5x Hexagon Bonus
Spooky Encounters
During the Ark Halloween 2022 event, you’ll encounter new variants of creatures. Some of these will drop items required for event Chibis and event ghost skins, so keep your eyes peeled.

While many of these creatures will disappear after Fear Evolved 6 has ended, the Zombie Fire Wyvern, Zombie Lightning Wyvern, and Zombie Poison Wyvern can be claimed and will persist after the event. So, if you fancy yourself some Zombie creatures in Ark, now is the time to get them!
Fear Evolved 6 Event Chibis
You can acquire these Ark Halloween 2022 Chibis by either killing a Dodowyvern or Dodorex, or a cooking pot recipe.
Note: All of the event Chibis in Fear Evolved 6 are new to Ark.

Fear Evolved 6 Event Ghost Skins & Skins
To claim the following ghost skins in Ark, you’ll need to kill any of the ghost creatures during the event. This includes Ghost Reaper (Surface reapers), Ghost Bulbdog, Ghost Rex, Ghost Basilisk, Ghost Snow Owl, Ghost Mantis, or Ghost Direwolf.
